Come join me at the amazing Anderson Ranch Art Center this summer for a week-long workshop working with colored terra sigillatas, hand building, and creativity! "The Ranch" is located 8 miles west of Aspen, Colorado, and is a place very dear to me.
I had my first experience with The Ranch on a field expedition workshop at the Good Hope Plantation in Jamaica, when I was only in my second semester of ceramics as an undergraduate student. After that experience, I was hooked, and then had the joy of working as a summer intern in ceramics in 2003. During my graduate school studies, I was again a workshop student at The Ranch, but this time learning about welding through the lens of sculptural furniture making.
Coming back to teach a workshop here is a dream come true on many levels, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share this experience with you!
